Donna Borah (Clark)

Donna Marie Clark, 71, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, Dec. 26, 2022, in her home in St. Joseph.

She was born on Oct. 18, 1951, in Benton Harbor, the daughter of Julius and Alberta Borah.

She attended Benton Harbor High School and graduated in 1969. She studied nursing and drove buses for the public schools. She finished her career as a surgical technician until she retired in 2015.

She was a loving partner, a grandma, a great-grandma, a mother, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, a friend and so much more. She was selfless, caring, strong, fearless and proud. Her smile was infectious and heartwarming. She loved to laugh and embrace the little things. She was a caregiver and wanted to help the world in any way she could.

She led by example, a true role model. She loved adventure and the outdoors. Family, friends, and an appreciation for life were her greatest loves. She was so many things to so many people and we were all connected by our love for her.

She is survived by her loving partner of more than 20 years, Randy Rea; three sons: Michael Clark, David Clark, and Randall Clark; three sisters: Pat Lubben, Janet Furgason, and Betty Perrone; three brothers: Richard Borah, Ken Borah, and Dale Borah; eight grandchildren: Brody Clark, Makenna Clark, Isabelle Clark, William Clark, Alaina Clark, Hayden Clark, Kenzie Clark and Corinn Clark; one great-grandchild, Noah Kirkman; and several extended family members and friends!

In accordance with her wishes, she was accepted to the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine body donation program, where she will give the gift of education to medical students, and have her name added to the Memorial Tree as a reminder of her selfless gift.

A celebration of life ceremony will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Shadowland Ballroom 333 Broad St., St. Joseph, MI 49085. We welcome all her family and friends to come share your memories with us. This will be a casual attire event.

To Donna's Family,

So sorry to hear of Donna's passing. We knew each other from 7th grade thru LMC. She was one of the sweetest  and caring persons, as well as full of adventure. My life was blessed with her in it.
