I remember Kathy from church and Youth Group. We enjoyed riding her horse in the field by her home. Her passing is a sad loss for all.

I was looking on the net for anything I could find out about the Class of 68 and stumbled on this site. Out of curosity I hit the Lost button. When I saw her name, I was shaken because at one time we were very close. Kathy and I dated for a while when she was a Sophmore and I was a Junior. She was a lot of fun and had a fantastic sense of humor. That was probaly why she dated me. I was a guy with a broken home, a low draft number, and not much of a guarantee on my life expectancy. I am saddened to find out about her death so long after it happened. I am also saddened that time and distance is more powerful than the internet for my class, 1968 I have lost contact with so may people with whom, together, we survived the sixties, growing up, and each other. The Class of 68 kind of disintegrated after graduation. There is a book out about 1968. It was a year of turmoil. I am glad I survived. I am still very happily married to my BHHS Class of 70 girlfriend. It will be 41 years June 2012. No doubt that is partly because of Kathy's improvements. I think that I am a composite of all of the people who have influenced me over the years. Over the last few years I have tracked down as many of the people who have had a positive impact on me as I could find. A minister, college professors, an employer, my dad (easy), some co-workers, my wife (easy, I am still her husband). Thanks Kathy. RIP!
