A TIME TO BE BORN

Alvin Malone was born in Memphis Tennessee on June 15, 1951, to the late Pastor Rivers and Emma Malone. They moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan in the ’50s. Alvin accepted Christ at a young age under the Late Dr. Daniel E. Cook.

A TIME TO WORK

Alvin attended Bard Elementary and graduated from Benton Harbor High School. Alvin was very smart and good at math. In 1974 Alvin enlisted in the Army and became SGT; then in1978 Alvin enlisted in the Air Force also becoming an SGT. Alvin had many different jobs throughout his life. He was a security guard and worked in different factories.

A TIME TO LOVE

In 1978 Alvin fell in Love and married Sharon (Woods) Malone. He gained a daughter, MikaDenise (Purnell) Nesbitt whom he loved like his own. Together they had a daughter in 1978, Altrika Trenia Malone. Alvin was loved by his family. He stayed most of his life with his father and mother then with his sister Sandra until she could no longer care for him. His god sister, Brenda Peet was by his side holding his hand when he passed over to the other side.

A TIME TO MORN

Alvin leaves to morn his passing his Wife Sharon Malone of Atlanta GA, 1 daughter Mika (Darryl) Nesbitt of Atlanta GA, 3 brothers Julius Malone of Milwaukee WI, Joseph (Irma) Malone and Leslie Malone both of Benton Harbor, MI. 1 sister Sandra (Woodrow) Wright of Benton Harbor MI and 1 God sister Brenda Peet of Benton Harbor MI. 15 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews, 22 great-great nieces and nephews, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by both parents, His daughter Altrikia Malone, and 2 Brothers Clinton and Frankie Lee Malone.
