Mr. James M. Pounders, aged 72 of Alpharetta, GA passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in Roswell, GA. Jim was born July 27, 1950, to Milton and Armolean Pounders, who preceded him in death. He achieved a B.S. through Central Michigan University before beginning a long career in central-fill pharmacy automation systems. Later in life, he served as a Consultant through his own LLC, forging many strong relationships both business and professional. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed golf in all its formats, whether working his way through the course or having the opportunity to watch the Masters in person. Jim is survived by his wife, Mary (Liz) Pounders, and by his sons, Erik (sp: Audra) Pounders and Nick (sp: Stephanie) Pounders, and grandchildren, Jason Hart, Lillian Hart, London Pounders, and Brooklyn Pounders. He also leaves behind siblings, Steve Pounders, Kevin Pounders, and Sherry Foster. To honor Jim's memory, we are holding a celebration of life on October 29, 2022, at Northside Chapel and Funeral home, located at 12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA 30075. Visitation will occur from 1 pm to 2 pm, with the celebration of life inside the chapel at 2 pm. The family invites those who knew Jim to join us in honoring and remembering him during this time.
